Are you a giver or a taker?

This is an interesting question to ponder. Each of us should consider this question in light of our faith walk. Am I a giver or a taker? Let’s consider this question and it’s possible impact on our spiritual life and the spiritual lives of those around us.

Takers get, Givers pay
Takers set, Givers move.
Takers cost, Givers Pay
Takers receive, Givers Labor
Takers critique, Givers effect
Takers grow lazy, Givers grow strong
Takers values self, Givers values others

If you consider these comparative statements, how do you measure up. It is not healthy to compare ourselves to another person, but it very effective to compare our lives to a standard. Our Standard is and has always been Jesus himself. He told us to GO. Did you? Are you? Will you?
